Originally painted based on my trip to Kawazu, Izu prefecture, Japan.
The earliest cherry blossoms to bloom in Japan are the dreamy and beautifully pink Kawazu sakura. In my first year moving to Japan, I visited Kawazu in early February and was greeted by a sea of pink clouds.
Printed on real watercolor paper, this giclee fine art print faithfully reproduces the texture and brushwork of the original painting.
Looks great either taped directly to the wall, or displayed in a frame.
