[B GRADE] Hand-bound watercolor sketchbooks

What is B Grade?

Occasionally, I will get sketchbooks with minor imperfections. I don't feel comfortable selling them at full price, so you can enjoy a discount on these perfectly usable sketchbooks!

All imperfections are cosmetic only and do not affect usage. See photos for different types of imperfections. If you would like to avoid a specific type, make a note in your your order and I will try to accommodate. However, I only have a limited number of B grade sketchbooks, so your request may not be guaranteed.

📔 What paper should I get?

Baohong: a budget-friendly 100% cotton watercolor paper that offers great performance at an accessible cost.

Arches: widely regarded as the gold standard for watercolor paper, also 100% cotton. Compared to Baohong, it has a finer texture, handles heavier wet washes, and dries more evenly for buttery-smooth gradients.

300gsm cold-press is used for both paper options.

For reference, I use Arches in my bigger sketchbook (19x13.5cm) for my main artwork, and Baohong in my smaller square sketchbook (13.5x13.5cm) for casual daily sketching.
