The paint is hand-poured and WILL NOT LOOK PERFECT. It may have air bubbles, cracks, or shrinkage, which is a natural part of the paint drying process. Some colors (especially Burnt Umber and Yellow Ochre) will crack & shrink more than others. It will NOT look like a brand-new store-bought watercolor pan.

Occasionally, a paint cube can come loose during shipping and falling out of the pan. If this happens, apply a generous amount of water to the back of the paint cube, and place it back to "glue" it down with the re-activated paint.

This is the same color choice and layout that Bingying uses for all of her travel sketches, hand-poured with Winsor & Newton Cotman watercolors.

Why Cotman?
I use Winsor & Newton's Professional line in these same color choices, which is more pigmented and a lot more expensive. To keep this pre-filled palette budget-friendly, they are filled with the student-grade Cotman line. I highly recommend Cotman for beginners; it's what I used for my first 5 years doing watercolor.

A wonderful, well-made watercolor palette! As a newer artist, and a fan of her YouTube channel, I'm grateful to have the opportunity to experiment with and learn from Bingying's colors!

The container itself is gorgeous, made of solid wood with strong magnets. The colors also mix beautifully on the mixing surface.

One small disappointment (but certainly not enough to remove a star!): I wish the "Bon Voyage" engraving was on the opposite side of the palette. When I'm letting my wet paints dry upright on a table, I'd love to be able to fold the engraved "Bon Voyage" cover visibly on top, and have the Natsume x Bingying logo facing the desk. I specifically chose this limited edition engraving because I loved the artwork :( I often sketch around friends, and it would be lovely to have the design I picked visible between yapping and painting, rather than hidden underneath.

Besides my nitpick, it's an absolutely beautiful and functional travel palette! I'm going to buy the compass palette and a sketchbook next!

整體還不錯，木頭很有質感，雕刻圖案也很可愛，磁力也不錯。唯一的小問題是顏料有的多有的少，還有裂開的，有點小小失望。對了，打開盒子的時候有顏料掉出來，不太確定是不是正常的現象。

您好，很抱歉顏料的狀態不符合您的期待！顏料在乾燥的過程中會自然收縮乾裂，我一般會分兩次灌裝。盡量彌補收縮和乾裂的痕跡，但或許檢查不仔細沒有修補得很好，非常抱歉！我以後會更仔細檢查。
運輸過程中的碰撞偶爾會導致幹燥後的顏料掉出來，可以在顏料背面多塗一些水、讓顏料液化，然後再放回盒子裡，化開後再次乾燥的顏料會黏回去。

I’m so sorry that the paint did not meet your expectations! As watercolor dries, it naturally shrinks and cracks. I usually pour the paint in two rounds to minimize these signs as much as possible, but I may not have inspected it closely enough this time to touch it up properly. I am truly sorry about it, and I will be much more thorough in my quality checks in the future.

During shipping, dried paint can occasionally come loose and fall out. You can apply a generous amount water to the back of the paint cake to reactivate it, then press it back into the pan. Once it dries again, it will stick back in place.

Really well pack box, everything was in perfect condition when it arrived.

It arrived early in the condition is phenomenal!!! Never have I been so pleased opening a box I ordered, with every part of it cared for immensely!
